Airline Branding for United Airlines
Pentagram has been working with United Airlines since 1996 on a series of design projects. They have covered nearly all aspects of customer products and experience. This year, United has merged with Continental Airlines; thus, ending (perhaps temporarily) United’s partnership with Pentagram. Check out their 15 Years of Flying United series!

That’s how it’s done?!
Abbot Miller from Pentagram was commissioned by KnollTextiles to design a new line of wall coverings. Miller decided to use a serious of materials he felt most comfortable and familiar with– paper, patterns, and drawings.
“I was looking at the way ink moves across paper, and imagined it running down the walls,” says Miller.
The new line, Ink, launches this week and features three designs, Drip, Drip, and Run. They exemplify liquid motion and movements that slowly transition into more graphic elements. It’s modern, simplistic, and chic; almost like clothing for your walls. The designers are printed on ENCORE, which is a vinyl material that uses 30% recycled material. The designs are not limited to wall coverings, in fact on Pentagram’s site, they feature the pattern on an umbrella.

Ending with a tutorial
Designing icons is probably one of the most important parts of interactive and web design. Check out this tutorial.
ENJOY!
Ok, I downloaded a web template, that came as a PSD. (Photoshop file) It is very advanced with around 30 layers. Is it possible to convert this to an HTML file that I could work with in Frontpage, other than just saving as a jpg and inserting it as an image.
